28 August 2018 (Tuesday) – In conjunction with the National Month, Forest Research Institute Malayasia (FRIM) has organised a Monthly Assembly and Patriotic Run yesterday to commemorate the historical moment of the country’s declaration of independence leading to the formation of Malaysia.

Deputy Director General (DDG) (Operations) delivered the opening speech while DDG (Research) Dr Ismail Harun flagged off the Patriotic Run participants.

Khali Aziz; Ismail, Administration Director Liza Ismail and Finance Director Zamshari Abd Rahman presented the medals to winners of the run.

Khali Aziz also presented the trophy of Patriotic Photo Contest to the winner from the Director General’s Office.
