4 February 2020 (February) – Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) launched the FRIM Integrated Management Information System (FIMIS) at its Monthly Assembly Program on 23 January.

FIMIS is an integrated information management system which supports the planning and monitoring of FRIM achievements as well as acting as a Decision Support System (DSS). The system was developed in-house by the Information Technology Branch staff led by Nurul Hilal Ahmad Tarmidzi.

At the assembly, FRIM staff also took the pledge to perform their duties with integrity followed by a mandate delivered by FRIM Director General (DG) Datuk Dr Abd Latif Mohmod.

The DG also presented the certificate to the winner of the ‘FIMIS System Logo Design & Slogan Competition’.

Also present, FRIM Deputy DG (Operations) Dr Khali Aziz Hamzah and FRIM Deputy DG (Research) Dato’ Dr Marzalina Mansor.
