FRIM successfully retains MS ISO 9001:2015

28 September 2018 (Friday) – Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) has successfully retained its MS ISO 9001:2015 certification after undergoing the external audit on 26-27 September.

FRIM Forestry and Environment Division Director Dr Samsudin Musa chaired the Audit Opening Meeting at Licuala Meeting Room on 26 September. The audit aimed to ensure the compliance with the ISO 9001: 2015 Standard and corrective actions that have been implemented as a result of the previous audit.

The auditors comprised of Steven Toh Kee Mok and Dr Idris Ahmad Nordin from Intertek International. They announced the achievement at the Audit Findings’ Presentation Meeting at the FRIM Auditorium yesterday.

Also present, FRIM Deputy Director General (Operations) Dr Khali Aziz Hamzah, Audit System Head Dr Sharmiza Adnan as well as division directors and FRIM staff.
